Does ANY backup software work with Win 95??
Out of the blue, the keyboard decided not to work in XP. I can check the BIOS settings and everything is fine. when the system boots up no keyboard in any software application. Any ideas or recommends? TIA. Try removing the keyboard from Device Manager, then reboot. Windows should then refind the keyboard.

Interesting, some XP/Server 2003 drivers do work on Vista. There are, unfortunately, two additional issues. One is that the driver software installers may reject the installation based on not recognizing the name of the OS. Sometimes this limitation can be circumvented by "run as" or editing an install file.

Under safemode the WebClient service does not run and will not run. Exploring the website - folder navigation, works but file transfer does not. using msconfig. Please also check whether there are any difference on hardware level as well as software level between XP machines which work well and which don't.
